HEY! i downloaded some songs, and they became, for instance: anotherday.mid
how do i turn that into a ringtone? if it IS a ringtone, how do i send it to my phone? (for free if possible..)

.mid is a ringtone type just as a matter ineterest. once you have found your mp3 or mid or wma files just use a facility like (link hidden for guest post) to upload them to your mobile. yje site allows you to upload almost any ringtone type and image type that you can find and its real easy. They also have lots to freebies like java games and mp3 tones and wallpapers to keep you busy for a while.
What I found was that the site gets updated often with new stuff and for now its all free.
