Bimbo (Lambretta)
You need a seven-string guitar with the tuning: Bb-Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb
and then I like to play the song like this:
(We did this with our cover-band in front of hunderts of faces
and they all fixed it and banged around ... so I think it works fine)
Notice: There´s a fu**** keyboard which gives the whole some harmonics
and the five-string does the rest ...
Riff A
---------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------5--------5--------------------------
-------------------------------5--------5--------------------------
---0--2---0--2---0--2--0--2-sl-3---2-sl-3-------------------------
You can also bend the single note C# to D (I think that´s the original),
but I play it with a slide an the full powerchord D, sounds better !!!
Riff B (for the verse)
-------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------
------5--5--5-----5-----------------------------
---2--5--5--5--2--5------------------------------
---0--3--3--3--0--3------------------------------
You have to play it twice, then the Riff A one time and ten you have to
repeat the whole one.
The chorus goes like this:
G - A - G - A - B - C#
G - A - G - A - B - C# - G
Then there is a clean part like this:
D - G - B
D - G - A
D - G - B - G
I hope that this will be correct and
you will enjoy this one !!!
Greetings & Rock On !!!
